Ours are built to. Independent testing has found that laundry sheets as a category can trail liquid detergents on tough stains — which is exactly why PV2 uses a five-enzyme system (protease, lipase, amylase, cellulase, mannanase) targeting grease, food, starch and protein stains. For heavy or set-in stains, do what you'd do with any detergent: pre-treat, use two sheets, wash warm.
PVA (polyvinyl alcohol) is the synthetic, water-soluble polymer that binds most laundry sheets and coats pods. PV2 sheets contain none — the sheet is held together by alginate, derived from seaweed. Full story on our What's PVA? page.
We don't make that claim — on purpose. The formula contains SLS, a conventional surfactant that can irritate skin, and our box carries a skin-irritation warning. PV2 is fragrance-free and dye-free, but fragrance-free is not a skin-safety promise, and we won't dress it up as one. If you have sensitive skin or a skin condition, read our full ingredient list (it's all published) and check with your doctor.
Up to 64 from 32 sheets: half a sheet for a small load, one for a regular load, two for large or heavily soiled loads. If you run mostly large loads, plan on closer to 16–32.
Yes — they're fast-dissolving in hot or cold water and designed to rinse clean, with no PVA film left behind (there's no PVA to leave). For hand-washing, dissolve the sheet in warm water before adding clothes.
Every type — HE, top-load, front-load — plus hand and sink washing. Place the sheet directly in the drum with your clothes (front-loaders: in the drum, not the drawer).
Because "clean" doesn't have a smell. No synthetic fragrances, no masking scents, no dyes — your clothes come out smelling like nothing, which is what clean actually is.
Yes. The carton is FSC-certified paper/cardboard — no plastic jug, no liner, no window, no film. It recycles as cardboard (PAP 21 — check your local guidelines).
It's a biodegradable formula — alginate base, biodegradable surfactant system, enzymes. We say "biodegradable formula" rather than "certified biodegradable" because we hold no product certification, and we're not going to imply one. (The FSC certification on the box applies to the packaging.)
Because it's real detergent. Concentrated detergent — sheet, pod, liquid or powder — warrants the same respect: keep it away from children, don't eat it, rinse eyes if exposed. We'd rather over-warn than over-promise.
Our sheets are made in China to our formula and standards, for KJJT LLC (Sheridan, WY). It's printed on the box, like everything else.
