PV2 sheets are bound with alginate — a polysaccharide derived from brown seaweed — instead of the synthetic polymer the rest of the category relies on. It's part of a biodegradable formula that's fast-dissolving in hot or cold water and designed to rinse clean, with no PVA film in your wash, because there's no PVA in the sheet.

Ours are built to. Independent testing has found that sheets as a category can trail liquids on tough stains — which is exactly why PV2 runs five enzymes targeting grease, food, starch and protein stains. For heavy or set-in stains, pre-treat, use two sheets, wash warm.
